This issue of Telehealth and Medicine Today includes nine papers that are peer-reviewed and enhanced versions of a subset of papers presented at the 16th International Conference of Telemedicine Society of India, held in December 2020.

The following protocols and workflows were adhered to:

  1. The society review committee included three members on the Telehealth and Medicine Today editorial review team.
  2. The society review committee then convened and reviewed abstracts. Authors were invited to develop a research manuscript for review and possible inclusion in the proceedings issue.
  3. Society review committee members reviewed, discussed and recorded reviews for each selected abstract presentation.
  4. Telehealth and Medicine Today (TMT) editors, also serving on the symposium scientific review committee, were asked to review these manuscripts, as per TMT review criteria, providing single blind reviews, as they already reviewed submissions for the symposium.
  5. Manuscripts were selected and invited to upload on the journal portal for editing, galley approvals, production and publication.
  6. Reviewers re-reviewed the resubmitted versions and ensured any changes suggested had been incorporated. Two articles submitted were not accepted
